Thaer Abuqare is a licensed Professional Engineer with over a decade of experience in both retail/hospitality and heavy infrastructure construction. As the founder and president of Imperium Construction Services, LLC, Thaer possess a wealth of knowledge in both client services and general contracting. He leads a talented team of professionals who continually strive to deliver high quality and impactful spaces.

Prior to establishing Imperium Construction Services, LLC, Thaer served as Director of Construction for Equinox Luxury Fitness Clubs. He has completed projects both domestically and internationally, managing teams to deliver high-profile ventures to include the famed Equinox Hudson Yards in New York City and Equinox St James's in London.

In addition to hospitality and retail construction, Thaer has worked on heavy civil infrastructure projects that include New York City landmarks such as the Verrazano Bridge, Hugh L. Carey Tunnel (formerly known as the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel) and Henry Hudson Bridge.
